Since 1975 Lake Cumberland Housing has been serving the counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, McCreary, Pulaski, Russell, Taylor and Wayne to assist residents with finding decent, safe, sanitary and affordable housing.

The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program is a rental assistance program that allows qualified participants to rent a housing unit in the private market. Once the qualified participant is issued a voucher for rental assistance they are free to find a suitable housing unit within our eight county area that meet the various guidelines of the program.

The Lake Cumberland Housing Agency has the mission of providing decent, safe, sanitary and affordable housing for low income families within our ten county area. Our goal is to transfer these families into home ownership.
